What can you do?
  • Recycle plastic, paper, aluminum cans and glass.
  • Buy reusable products, not disposables.
  • Buy energy efficient cars and appliances.
  • Lower heating costs by adding insulation to the walls and attic or your house. Installing weather stripping or caulking around doors and windows can also reduce the amount of heat needed.
  • Use compact fluorescent light bulbs. They last about ten times longer than incandescent bulbs and use less energy.
  • Drive less and use mass transit when possible.
